#1 - Coyote Hills Regional Park

Coyote Hills Regional Park is located on the waterfront in Fremont, CA near the Dumbarton Bridge. It is an excellent spot for birdwatching and especially pretty just before sundown.

Flora: Grassy hilltops, Cat Tails

Fauna: Aquatic Birds, Ducks, White Tailed Kites

Thoughts

This place truly is a wonderland for bird lovers. Despite its name, the park itself has plenty of flat walking paths and boardwalks to enjoy the park. Though the views really pay off if you make the trek to the hilltops.
